Mission and Outreach
Here at CPC we believe that we are called to serve all of God’s Children found in Creation. Through our love, our service, and with compassion we strive to make God’s love known. We invite you to walk with us as we work side-by-side with our partners in ministry. Together we can grow deeper in faith as we strengthen in the relationships found in our church, in our community, and around the world.
We strive to do this by:
• Keeping our missionaries personally visible • Celebrating the generosity of our members and friends of the congregation • Seeking God’s guidance in selecting opportunities • Cultivating prayer among our worshippers
Local agencies we support:
• Family Promise of Moore County - Shelter for families in transition • Sandhills/Moore Coalition for Human Care, Inc. (Ecuminical Minsitry to families) • Interfaith Food Pantry • Moore Buddies (Mentoring for At-Risk youth) • Friend to Friend (Battered Women's Shelter) (list of shelters in North Carolina) • Angel Tree project for Hoke County Schools (During Advent)
Other projects we support:
• Habitat for Humanity • Operation Christmas Shoebox – Samaritan’s Purse • Barium Springs Home for Children • Medical Benevolence Foundation • Boy Scouts – Troop #7 meets at Community Presbyterian Church • Campus Crusade for Christ • Wycliffe Bible Translators ~ JAARS (provides technical support services and resources to speed Bible translation)

Rob and Linda Gram ~ Charlotte, NC
The Grams have originally been in Eastern Europe developing a masters degree program at the
Evangelical Theologica Seminary in Osijek, Croatia and a masters degree and a doctoral program
at International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague. In 2006, they returned to the U.S. and are
focusing on Theological education at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where Gordon is an
Associate Professor in New Testament Studies. They have recently changed their affiliation from
Outreach Foundation to the United World Mission which better suits the field of theological
education. The Grams plan to pursue teaching possibilities in Eastern Europe to train ministers
for Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Rob has authored many books on theological
issues. He believes that one of the greatest contributions the West can make in missions today
is to the field of theological education.
