Mary Ellen is a graduate of Presbyterian College and the Presbyterian School of Christian Education (now Union Presbyterian Seminary). She has known since she was in high school that she wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps and pursue a church career. Mary Ellen has lived in the Shenandoah Valley, Pittsburgh, and most recently Greenville, SC. 

 

Mary Ellen has two young adult children. Her son, James, is a student at Davidson College, pursuing degrees in Political Science and Economics. ​Her daughter, Langley, is working in the Charlotte area and exploring next steps, possibly Divinity school. 

 

Mary Ellen moved to Pinehurst in May 2019 and has enjoyed exploring the area. You can find her most late afternoons walking Rosie, her border collie/shepherd mix rescue. She also enjoys photography, outdoor concerts, kayaking and even has taken up knitting during the pandemic.
