Ginny was born and raised in Henderson, NC.  She attended University of NC at Greensboro for undergraduate and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders and then again for her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology.  She worked at a medical complex as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in the foothills of NC for a year before getting married to her husband, Robert, and moving to Pinehurst.  She then worked for a private practice and the school system as an SLP working with children.  After deciding to take some time off to be with her 2 young kids,

 

Ginny feels blessed to be able to work with the Children's Ministry team at CPC.  She feels honored  to help children grow in their faith and they help to grow hers in return through their curiosity, creativity, honesty, and conversations that take unexpected turns!  Her heart feels warmed when the kids in the Children's Ministry apply lessons they have learned through church activities and discussions.  In her free time, Ginny enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, exercising, and browsing downtown Southern Pines.  She and her husband also spend time keeping their kids, Duncan and Juna, active outside so they do not destroy the house (more so than they already have!)
