Kathy Hodges grew up in Michigan.  She met and married her husband, Ted, after college.  Ted’s career offered them several exciting opportunities to move to various places; which they both enjoyed until finally settling here in Pinehurst six years ago.  They have a son near Raleigh and a married daughter and granddaughter in Florida.

 

Kathy loved her years teaching elementary school, but since she retired she has been passionate about all kinds of church work.  She is an ordained elder; a trained Stephen’s Minister and has served in various capacities within the church. 

 

For the past few years Kathy has been taking classed in Christian Formation through Columbia Seminary.  In addition to her passion for the church Kathy loves spending time with her family, early morning walks in the neighborhood, her Thursday knitting group with her church friends and she will never turn down an invitation for a lively game of bridge!
